Explorer Units are the fifth Section of the Scouting family after Beavers, Cubs and Scouts. Explorer Scouts are for young people aged between 14 and 18 years. There is flexibility in the age range: young people can join from age 13½ but cannot move to Scout Network until 18. The Explorer Team Leaders are Ben Hodgson and Andy Bolton who can be contacted on Explorers@elvingtonscoutgroup.org.uk

Our Explorer Scout Unit meets on Wednesdays during the school term. So if your child is aged between 14 – 18 years and would like to try something different and exciting then please drop us an email above.
