St Georges Day Parade

St George’s Day Parade is 27th April this year.
This is one of the main events in Scouting so this is a mandatory event for everyone.
FULL UNIFORM TO BE WORN – school shoes (no trainers), scouting trousers or school trousers and no coat so wear layers underneath if needed.
The parade starts at Clifford’s Tower up to the Minister where we attend a St George’s Day service and renew our promises. We then march back though York to Clifford’s Tower.

Meeting Time : 12.50pm at Clifford’s Tower (Eye of York) – Cubs, Scouts and Explorers only. Beavers do not parade on the way out and will meet at the Central Methodist Church on St Saviourgate. Annie will advise Beaver timings by email (approx 1.15pm)

Approx. end Time : At approx. 15.30, the procession will leave the Minster and will arrive back at Clifford’s Tower at approx. 16:00
